Step 1: Field History

Flats of annuals are purchased from a number of different local greenhouse operations.  There is no specific greenhouse that the affected plants are coming from.   Flats tend to get moved around quite a bit because of changing seasons, new, more colorful stock coming in, and aesthetic reasons.  Most all annuals are planted in soilless mixes with either a peat or coir base and added vermiculite and perlite.  Depending on the variety of plant, the proportions of the mix could vary.
